I know this post is a little off the ball but I hope someone will find some use out of it..............
I used to sell quite a bit of stuff on ebay and made my way up to powerseller status.
Unfortunately ebays fees are so high it makes it difficult to make a good profit + most markets are saturated so competition is really tough.
At the end of the day even though I was shifting fairly large quantities of goods I didn't make enough money to warrant the amount of work I was putting in - So I gave it up.
One thing I would say from my experience is to be a little weary about buying products from China.
Certainly gettting a sample of the products before you commit to buy is a wise idea (or dropship for that matter) Quality does vary consciderably from one factory/supplier to another.
Shipping fees are also a huge factor not to be overlooked - The prices are cheap but slap the cost to get it over here and it will soon eat up any profits. Also minimum order quantities can be high.
Getting back to the ebay thing........
I'd say go to amazon its soooo underated ( I don't know why ) and so much easier to make a profit selling there. You only pay when you sell which makes a huge difference.
