I know of a free software that can help with that without having to get into MSConfig. It is called CCleaner. Just put it in google and it will find it for you, it the top hit. Install this and in Tools it will tell you all the program that loads on start up. You just go through and delete the entries that you know are not required. This will then speed your pc when loading up. The software also is great for getting rid of temporary files, fixes registrary keys and a whole load of other useful utilities. It's free so won't cost you a penny. I've been using for the past 3 years and it's served me well. It also prompts your for updated versions so you're always up to date. Give it a try guys. |
