I don't know how many of you have seen this but there are loads of affiliates promoting it on YouTube and elsewhere. It's Dr Jon Cohen's 'Top Secret Magic Code'. The sales page says that you can: Add Just 1 Simple String of

Now obviously it's a scam. It had to be a scam. The fact that there are so many retarded affiliates* pushing it shows that better than anything. If it actually worked then they'd simply be using it rather than trying to sell the secret to others.
However, I was curious. I wanted to know what the hell this code was. I searched Rapidshare and Bittorrent and tried a sneaky trick I often use to get free ebooks, but couldn't get it. I was considering buying it just to satisfy my curiosity, when finally somebody posted the following on another forum: Quote:

Unless your website is getting THOUSANDS of unique visits per day, this program won't do Jack Shit for you, in fact it really isn't any different than adding AdSense to your website.

| So there you have it. Just a simple bit of advertising income. Certainly not worth the $37 he's charging for the ebook, but a useful lesson in how you can make money out of any old piece of crap as long as your sales techniques are good ("Ooooh! Magic code! Man, I need that!"). Or, in other words, you really can polish a turd.
* This guy's YouTube video was so appalling that I had to comment (I'm RichardSCarter). All he does is read the sales page. Badly! |
