A chip that doesn't need any soldering at all DOES void the warranty (It voids the moment you open up your Wii). Plus, they ALL need soldering but not on the wii, they don't explain that so that people like you buy them thinking they won't need to hire someone to solder it.
I think the guy is trying to scare you into buying his games indeed as it's almost impossible to burn incorrectly a game. But MoneyMan is right. You must only play games of your region (PAL for Europe, NTSC-U for US and NTSC-J for Japan), but it's possible now thanks to WiiBrickBlocker to just patch the ISO before it is burnt and voila. |
