Hey Thanks this worked!
Usually I click shut down and wait a minute or two till it completely shuts off to be sure no one will get on my computer while I'm away.
It's happend a few times where I'll be in a hurry and shut down and zoom off only to come back later to realize it didn't turn off all the way.

or u can just hold the start button on ur pc than it will shut down

My opinion is that it affects your computer, Because it don't make sence that microsoft haven't made windows shutdown in 5 secs in the first place, And when windows shutdown it saves all system changes and things like that.

So what i think is that it is the same as turning off you Ps2, Ps3 or Xbox 360 while it is saving a game and that will leave to a corrupt save file.
