This should only be done on your own car. Very useful to know if you lock your keys in the car.
This obviously wont work on all cars but if you have an electronic locking system then it very well may.
It also shows the vulnerability of even modern cars so always secure your car with some kind of immobilisor.

Makes sense though.
If the air pressure from the tennis ball can move the locking mechanism it should open it.

Air pressure alone would not affect the motor/electric based locks in today's cars. My dad has a 21yr old Mercedes and it uses a vacuum system, so whenever you lock or unlock, there is a slight delay, and you hear the air pressure moving the locking mechanisms in the doors. When I get a chance to test this, I will get back to you guys with the results

I don't think there are many (if any) new cars that this would work with. |

It's on the discovery channel. Anyway, they referenced this same video, and called it a fake. Maybe I will use my dad's car to make a video of my own...
