| Make Money With Library Books I found this website about making money with library books. I bought the system for $9.99. I paid through Google Checkout and the next day I received the information which gave me step-by-step instructions. Basically, how the system works is that you search for books that have sold on, none other than, eBay for whatever price range you want, but a price of at least $100 is recommended. You do the search under books, non-fiction, in completed listings. Then you go to your local libraries website and look up those books and if they have it, you put it on hold with your library card number. Depending on which county you live in, you may be able to transfer books between libraries to the location nearest you. Once you check the books out at the library, go home, take out your digital camera and take some detailed, clear pictures. Auctiva hosts pictures for free. Give an honest description and make sure that you put in the item description that it is an ex-library book. It's best to list them in auction format so that you can get the most possible money and always let it run through the weekend which is the busiest shopping period.
Eventually, these books are going to become due back at the library. If you sold them, of course, you can't return them. All you have to do is go into the library and report them lost, when you see that the due date is arriving, and pay the fee. If you want to stall on paying, you can just renew them. Most libraries let you renew books up to two or three times before having to return them. Sometimes, it depends on if a particular book is on hold by another patron and how much supply of that book there is, but that's usually not the case. If your book doesn't sell, which is rare because you researched it, just return it. The great part about this is that 9 times out of 10, a book will sell for more on eBay, than the library cost of it is, so that spells PROFIT.
The Research Borrow System is simple and you even get an email announcment of two selling books, once a week. So that's two books a week that you can look up in your local libraries database without researching, because the research has been done for you. It doesn't require a lot of time, but the more time you make for it, the more profits you will earn. True money maker. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 5 or greater. | Re: Make Money With Library Books Does sound quite good, but don't you think the libaries might clock on after you've 'lost' about 5 or 6 expensive books? |

| Re: Make Money With Library Books I've lost about 40 plus books to date, not all at the same time, and I've paid the fees for them all. They haven't said anything yet. If they were going to say something, they probably would've by now...or maybe they're waiting for me to hit the big 50. LOL. When I go in and report, they log it in the lost folder and put my fee in the little cash register behind the counter. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 5 or greater. | Re: Make Money With Library Books Quote: | Hi,
Could you please tell me what you mean by search under books, non fiction in completed listings.
Best Regards,
Willow. | Hi Will, that means that you sign on to eBay, drop down the menu in the search bar at the top to books. On the left side bar, under Product Finder, click on Nonfiction Books, then scroll down and under Search Options, check off the items priced box and set your minimum and maximium search price range, then check off the box for Completed listings, then click Show Items. That will display the results for books that have ended in your desired price range. If the prices are in green, that means that they have sold. If the prices are in red, that means that they did not sell. The prices in green are the target. |

| Re: Make Money With Library Books Hi
This sounds good but how many times can you claim to have 'lost' your library books without them (the library) begining to question it? What is your experience with this?
