1. Do NOT connect a single feed (split) to both inputs as any polarisation conflict may damage the LNB - as I stated in an earlier post a voltage is applied from the Sky+ back to the LNB to alter polarisation.
2. Single feed does work OK - giving the ability to record whatever you are watching but here's a tip - to force the Sky+ to always use the same input set it to record something (e.g. a radio channel) all day every day - this will use up an input permanently and hence you will always be using the other input for whatever you are watching/recording.
I've not looked myself but Digital Spy gives a lot more info on all this in the Sky+ section. |

Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Re: Sky to Sky+ I guess I wont be experimenting then as I live in a flat and my dish is 30 ft up in the air lol and thats alot of hassle to replace a LNB so sorry people who was waiting for my experiment I guess othere ppl have blown LNB's trying lol have you seen the price on 4 port LNB i havent looked yet it worth getting you could have sky+ and put you old box in the bedroom and have freesat running on it so you have basic freeview channels and a few more  |
