I am a new memeber and was looking forward to reading the article quoted at the very beginning of the thread however it appears to be taken down any chance of getting a hold of it please?

Anyone who can help with hacking the viring media box would be most appreciated.

Hey, I didn't ruin your box... you did that! don't fret too much about it mate, I fried 2 cable modem boxes before I managed to get it working properly! it's just part and parcel i'm afraid as is all things new that are complicated and involve soldering,re-wiring and generally doing something that shouldn't be done! I did also say NOT to use your original subbed box and to go out and buy one from a car boot or whatever for that reason and also so that if it died then you wouldn't have lost much! Please trust me when I say that I know of 2 of my friends that started out with the angel guide and they're quite happy making money on the side but it can be expensive buying card readers/programmers and cards to go with it etc so please make sure that you know what you're doing or feel competent enough and that you have money to use for the project but at the end of it all you could make a fair bit of money if you manage to get it working for yourself! I know pwople that are selling these boxes pre done for between £150-200! nice return for a small(ish) outlay!

P.S No need for all the swearing either, there are kids out there aswell! PM me with your problem and what you did and i'll see if I can find out where you went wrong.
