This is almost the oldest trick in the book and its so easy to do.
1 take out the lead from the back of your set-top box.(the one that comes from the wall normaly its white)
2 cut off one end and put a normal male tv areal end in its place.
3 now plug the lead into your tv as you would a normal areal
4 scan for channels on your tv.
5 you should now have about 20 "free" channels.
you dont get every channel but its ok for free some of the channels you get are
MTV1
HALLMARK
VH1
BBC1,2,NEWS24,PARLIAMENT
ITV1,2
CH4
CH5
E4
CNN
CARTOON NETWORK
EUROSPORT

No only VIRGIN ( ex NTL / Telewest ) ie CABLE.
Freeview is totally diffrent and works via your aerial. | |
