i used to work for a mobile phone, testing company called 'surfkitchen'
and we used to install, java,symbian ect software on mobile devices, cut a long story short, we used to get new fones that are not out on sale, or never heard of, and i had to install java or other platforms on the fones and do all sorts of testing.

so here is a free site with all makes and models of fones, some apps do cost you to accsess your network, so make sure you read all descriptions just to make sure, there are loads and loads of mad carzy apps that you can put on your device, from The eBuddy Mobile Messenger to hacking bluethooth loads and loads, there is no ref's or no catch , all free, apart from your network costs depending what apps you have installed
