How to Copy your friends' games to keep FOREVER!

Ok well say you borrow a PC game from your friend. And you are hooked and they want it back. Well you can copy the entire CD to your hard drive and then mount it on a virtual CD drive to make your computer think the CD is actually in your PC (but it isn't. It's with your friend as they threatened to beat you up if they didn't get it back)

Also - YOU WILL NOT A NEED A CD/DVD WRITER TO DO THIS UNLESS YOU WISH TO PUT THEM ONTO A CD/DVD SO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STORE THEM ON YOUR HARD DRIVE

I will be showing you how to do this with Worms Armageddon. If you want a copy then go ahead and ask me.

You will need 2 things for this - Files attached
MagicISO
Daemon tools

So first af all install them both and now... read down there

Part 1 - MagicISO
1. Put the CD into your CD drive
2. Open up MagicISO
3. Press "Make ISO from CD Rom" [Screenshot]
4. Then choose where your file will be made to under the output file section and give it a name. I will be using WA for Worms Armageddon
5. Under output format, choose ISO (The simplest. Not confusing for people) [Screenshot]
6. Then press OK and it will start to Create the ISO [Screenshot]
7. Once it is finished you can then close MagicISO.

Part 2 - Daemon Tools
Ok so we have the ISO, what do we do with it? Well there are 2 ways to go from here. Use MagicISO to open the file or use Daemon Tools.
When you Installed Daemon, you may have noticed a little circle thing with a lightning bolt through it in your task bar. If not, reinstall.
1. Right click this symbol.
2. Go on Virtual CD/DVD-Rom -> Device 0 (or which ever there is) -> Mount Image. [Screenshot]
3. Browse to where your ISO is and mount it
4. And there you go! The file is mounted and, well you have a CD on your PC!

Also if you are REALLY KIND you might make a torrent of this and upload to a torrent site

I would NOT reccomend this if you have a small hard drive as it WILL take up a lot of space

EDIT - YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE THE ISO MOUNTED ONTO DAEMON WHILE YOU ARE PLAYING THE GAME OTHERWISE IT WILL BE ANNOYING AND SAY PLEASE INSERT CD

I notice no-one mentioned that you need a crack to actually RUN the iso...... Try www.gamecopyworld.com for these. (usually called NOCD) Place it in the install directory of the game, overwriting the old .exe (the one the desktop shortcut points to) Voila!

Is this just for pc games ,, or can it be used for like xbox 360 or ps2/3 too ??

@ S-J-2K7: You can create an iso for burning a ps2,xbox game and burn it to disc, But I'm afraid you need to either chip your machine (mod it) or use the diskswap method, In which case you need a copy of swapmagic (A disk for ps2) And it must be an original copy of it. Xbox methods vary but google around a bit, I've heard it is possible to run copies without hardware/software adjustments.

Well firstly i need to get a computer with a tower really ,, argghh more money having to be spent! I think i might get one though, dead cheap

,, and mod it myself. Then starting copying and stuff
