To be fair, he wasn't the one that bumped an ancient thread simply to up his post count. I've seen plenty of old threads get bumped lately and most of them I didn't realize were so old until someone specifically pointed it out. He was probably fooled the same way I was.
I assume tracer had < 50 posts when he posted here. imo he should be banned or have posts removed for spamming his way to 50. Bumping 50 ancient threads is no way to become a respected member of this community, and personally I'm attempting to avoid that route. On another thread his only comment is "
gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood." Though I understand why the 50 post rule exists and believe it is necessary, tracer is the perfect example of how things can still go wrong if there's no moderation. Above this thread I have a notification that "
The 50 posts must be good posts and relevent or they will be deleted and your post count reset."
