It can cost as much as you want to put into it, if that makes sense. When going through the research steps, there will be certain companies you have to pay for them to retrieve information regarding the property. This can varie. Then you'l need money for maybe a fence, maintenance work, and depending on the state of the property, you will need to make it habitable. So it really depends on alot of different factors. Keelerk this one is easy fence it off from your garden then its not garden anymore, next buy yourself a sheep then it becomes grazing land and very difficult for them to take it away from you. Once its yours they cant touch you then

six years ago an old guy died je left property to his son six months later he died now it has been empty for 5 years and i have enterd property several times and thought of changing locks etc should i start claiming this house the neighbours say they left no will and have no relatives.
