PS3 or 360?

Just wondering what your thoughts where on the ps3 or 360.

i haven't tried the ps3 yet, but thinking of getting one for xmas! or should i stay with my 360

Stay with Xbox.
even if its monthly costs, it worth it.

was thinking about getting my gang the ps3 this xmas but i still think theres not enough games etc

will probably go for it next xmas if its about £100 cheaper

Wow, this thread is so civil, on the forum I run its a real bloody battle every time this pops up, then again it is a gaming forum.

Anyway, I don't have either consoles, but from playing at friends, reading reviews, etc, you can basically go by this. X-Box is probably better for the right now, however PS3 has the better potential for the future. Meaning right now, X-Box has the advantage as its easier to understand the game coding, etc. but at the same time it is limited (also due to DVD size), whereas the PS3 has years of potential ahead once Game makers properly figure out how to make games for it. So in the long run I think its better to geta PS3 as otherwise in 1-2 years you might end up having to buy a new XBox to get cool new games.

All comes to your personal preference, they are both decent. In my opinion both pretty much the same, cant see how one is better than the other.

Aye one is much cheaper than the other, in the long run like Franswurst said I'd say PS3, just my opinon anyway

Xbox 360 is better in my opinion, it has some kickass exclusive games like Halo and stuff.
Plus it's cheaper etc ...

I've played pro evo 2009 on both and it's better on the xbox it seems faster and smoother and the goalkeepers are better too.
Also I hear you can chip or flash the xbox yourself and then download games for free so i was planning on getting one anyway.

Xbox 360 can be easily soft modded pretty much like the old xbox could apart from you make a backup of your 360's DVD drive firmware just in case the flashing goes wrong and then load on a new hacked firmware similar to how you would upgrade any components firmware but I think there's a few more stages than that to it but it seems easy enough depending what DVD drive your 360 has! So based on that, i'd get a PS3 for sure if you didnt mind copied software and keep your 360 aswell! Otherwise, get a Wii for the sheer fun of it, played my brothers and had loads of fun. You gotta think though, if you get a PS3 you get Blu-ray! Also another point, PS3 so far has no mod chips, nothing, it's proved to be one of the most un-hackable things yet! so at least they all get max profits through that system!

Ive always had a station so i cant help being biased and say go for a ps3, when i get round to it and av abit of spare money im gunna get one. They seem to play better imo and xbox 360's have the ring of death which has got to be the most stupidest thing ever thought of, designed and then put into the console. Why didnt they just think of the solution instead? The games seem abit better for ps3 and i prefer football games and the actual controllers. But xbox are only a ton now so this could sway it for ya.
