Default 07 Number Scams
  • Several years ago Ofcom announced a rearrangement of all dialing codes:

    02 London
    05 Local
    07 Mobile
    08 Local and/or Freephone
    09 Premium

    This was done so that people would know how much any call would be likely to cost them.

    However, there appears to be a loop hole in this new arrangement, and which could cause you a great deal of expense.

Thats crazy!! i didn't know some premium numbers start with 07, i looked into some work as a text/phone operator with chatting companies.. but still with theyr original mobile no. they were also given a premium number that started with 09 so the customers could call them up.. but the original mobile no. was still the same and active for family and friends..

I bought a few numbers like that for like £1 each then found out they were premium
