Nominated 20 Times in 11 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | 7 Dollar Secrets Let me ask you a simple question. Think hard about this question, and apply the common-sense, logical answer against everything you've ever been told by the "gurus." The question is…
Which item do you buy without thinking about the expense: a McDonald's lunch for one person or a new computer? Two magazines at the newsrack or a new refrigerator? A few gallons of gas, or a plane ticket?
The answer should be obvious. Most people don't sweat buying something that only costs a few dollars. They just buy it, use it, and throw it away when they're done. No big deal. Hundreds of millions, if not billions, of people buy items like this every day.
Do you know who the #1 wealthiest company was in the USA in 2006? Exxon Mobil. What does Exxon sell? Gasoline. How do they sell it? One gallon at a time.
Do you know who the second wealthiest company was in the USA in 2006? Wal-Mart. What does Wal-Mart sell? Mostly cheap little items. Well I'm about to show you how I used the theory of selling one inexpensive item MANY, MANY TIMES to earn over $3,000 in just 7 days.
Imagine, day after day, having dozens or hundreds of $7 deposits in your PayPal bank account, with almost no refunds or customer support—ever. What an easy way to earn a living that would be! You can have that life. I'll show you how.
To teach you all of this, I've created a report called $7 Secrets. It's a knowledge-packed report that will teach you everything you need to succeed by selling small, informational reports for only seven dollars each. |

Because when online, people are a lot more conscious about what they're buying: they can compare prices easily, they are always thinking "Is this purchase essential, should I really share my personal information just to get this product?", also, the customer has so much more choice since there are products from all over the world at their fingertips.
But the offline theory is quite true actually, I'd never thought of it that way...

Nice to see some members making the effort to add downloads. Its very much appreciated.
The $7 secrets scripts and things have had a huge buzz on the net over the last year or so. Main reason being like you say people dont mind spending $7 on the info they want (not like some of these $97 ebooks available which are mostly, but not all, just regurgitated shite). The only big thing about these is that you will get very few people asking for refunds as with higher priced products you will get lots of people buying it then asking for a refund and getting it free.
So long as the info is good people will consider it a bargain for $7 |

Like you say, people have more choice and can compare prices much easier on-line, which is exactly why these $7 (or £5 maybe if you market them to the UK...you could have a whole 'It's Only A Fiver!' brand line. Hmm...I just checked and itsonlyafiver.co.uk is taken but itsonlyafiver.com is available...I'm tempted!) guides work. People see the same kind of information being sold for $47, $97, whatever (it's always $7, never $9...do on-line marketers know something that off-line marketers don't?) and then see it availabe for just $7. Sure, they're probably a bit suspicious at first, but if the sales page is half-decent then they're going to say "Well, it's only $7 (or "only a fiver" I like that idea!), I may as well take a chance."
The no-refunds thing has got to be useful too. I've got a refund for everything I've bought off Clickbank so far, as none of it was really worth the money. With the possible exception of Adwords Miracle. That was actually pretty good. I may even buy it again when I've got some spare cash. Quote:

| You're very welcome. I've nabbed most of these things for free from various places, so it's good to share them and hopefully help some people out.
I had a question the other day actually: I avoid hotlinking images from the sales pages because that leaves a very obvious trail back here and could possibly lead to legal trouble from the ebook owners, but I've noticed hotlinked images in a few of the other download threads. What's your view on this? |

Damn I hate it how you're always right
| Hah! Sorry about that I'm sometimes wrong though, I have to admit. But usually I hide the evidence and kill the witnesses, so nobody gets to hear about it... Quote: ForOnlyAFiver.com is also available (just in case ) | Thanks for that! I've just registered itsonlyafiver.com though. Another three quid to GoDaddy.
I don't know what's up with itsonlyafiver.co.uk though. There's no website there, not even a parked page, and GoDaddy doesn't actually say it's taken, it just says that it's not available. Weird. |

PeeT | Erm...on the Internet? Where do people normally sell ebooks? eBay is pretty much a no-go since their recent rule change, so best bet is to get your own website, either a sales page for one of the books or a site featuring several of the books (such as the "itsonlyafiver.com" site I mentioned, although I haven't done anything with that yet). Or you can sell through email lists, or any other means that takes your fancy... |
