Warning about "paypal hack 2009/10"

Some absolute prick called lukec2 has tried to scam members of CLH by asking you to PM him details of a new Paypal hack. Knowing what might be coming, I asked for the details and it involves emailing your Paypal details to a hotmail account.

THIS DOES NOT WORK AND YOU WILL HAVE YOUR PAYPAL HACKED!!

I do not want to see one person on here fall for it. A mod has been informed.

Lukec2 only had 2 posts and it is possible he uses a new account to try the same thing. Sending anything that involves personal details to anyone is a scam. And don't trust any links posted by members that involve filling in details.

I know most people know about this sort of thing, but if this stops 1 person getting scammed then my job here is done.

I had heard of such thing for hacking Yahoo account some 2years back!

There's a lot of scams like this going round unfortunately, but until people start actually trying to get the people busted that initiate them they'll keep going on. It'll prob be quite hard to do though, seeing as an IP doesn't track an exact house.

It bothers me when people bring these scams to CLH!!
