What started the internet? How did we connect everyone together? How did networks began? And what about signal recognition throughout all the computers?

Actually, What is the Internet's Main Control Centre?

First it was a military secret idea, but then some geeks in some University decided that it's a cool way of sharing information around campus so they re-invented it for public. Then, Opera (the browser) came along and became the first internet browser, followed by Internet Explorer (Microsoft). That's all I know

I thought Netscape was the 2nd browser, followed by Ie.

wait, but how do every computer recognize the signal being sent?

and what holds the internet?

A military method to spread data easier and prevent enemies from bombing or destroying all the data.

Yah, Netscape isn't as user-friendly compared to chrome, and I think chrome is now the best browser. No problems so far.
