Doubt it. Not if you want it to play that is. If you want to shrink it so you can get it onto a DVD-R then 'unshrink' it, should be possible.
hope this helps |

You could compress the video to a smaller bitrate size if its wmv format or mpg Bink Downloads is useful if the game video is in bink or smack format and you could also change the bitrate of any large audio files |

I know bink is used for shrinking/converting game vid formats, but what I am referring to is - can I shrink a 9gb game disc to fit on a DVD-R [4.5gb] and still be playable.
As bink will be able to reduce vid size but not enough to place on DVD-R and keep the game playable at the same time

You could check the videos in the game because they may have lots of duplicate videos in a different language or loads of language files. The only other alternatives is to image the disc and keep it on your hard drive and play it from there or buy a dual layer dvd writer and pack of 10 dual layer discs for about £20 for both. |

So weird that no ones thought of making software to shrink games. Anyways I guess I'll just have to buy the games/ blank 9gb disks, if I wanna play on Pc. |
