That's a very negative attitude! If you believe "It's not what you know, it's who you know" "The rich get richer, the poor get poorer" etc. then you will never make money. There's that cheesy old saying "Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you are right."

And as far as I know this kid pretty much did it all by himself. He was acting as a reseller for the diamonds and coins on eBay, so that would have cost him almost nothing. Then he paid $9 for that turnkey website which earned him a few hundred, and went on from there. Just a bit of effort applied in the right place, nothing more...

yea this is inspirational , my teacher told me she believed in me right before i dropped out ! lol but seriously she told me that d and f students usually fail , a and b student land good jobs at great companys , and c students know how to keep life balanced and eventually RUN the companies that a and b students work for .... just my 2 cents

If you think about it, its all about who you know and what is available to you. If everyone could 1 million dollars to start up a business, there would probably be a lot more businesses out there and there would be more young millionaires in the world. This kid obviously had access to some unusual resources if he was selling diamonds on ebay. lol how many of you have access to diamonds to sell on ebay.This kid was in better shape to make money then most of us from the start.
