I got an email yesterday from a contact and forwarded it on to all my otehr contacts, thought i'd share it with you guys to.

Hi All, this has been checked with Norton Anti-Virus, and they are gearing up for this virus! and it is for real!!
Get this E-mail message sent around to your contacts ASAP.
PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS!
You should be alert during the next few days. Do not open any message
with an attachment entitled 'POSTCARD FROM HALLMARK,' regardless of who sent it to you. It is a virus which opens A POSTCARD IMAGE, which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer. This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list. This is the reason why you need to send this e-mail to all your contacts It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.
If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even though sent to you by a
friend, do not open it! Shut down your computer immediately.
This is the worst virus announced by CNN. It has been classified by
Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by
McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This
virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital
information is kept.

Thank you very much for the heads up on this.

I would rather know now than later afer i have opened it.

Has anybody else heard anything about this virus apart from in an email because this looks like a prime example of a virus chain letter people make just to see how far it goes.

Again thank you very much for letting us know 28ight as even if it is chain mail there is still the chance its not so it s best we all know.

Especialy with the destructive nature it sais it has.

Well when i put this up, i was thinking the same, another chain mail which i've come across in the past.. Not sure, but better safe than sorry eh. Might be worth checking CNN if it is true though.. Infact might go and do that now, i'll post back if i find anything. Ta

this isnt true, go on something along the lines of fake, i have got this email about 2 years back, its fake, and its been on the virus site thing

yeah, but i havent read it all yet lmao, even tho it says its "biggest virus ever!!!" dont worry, it wont wipe your hard drive...

Like u can say for sure!! Nothings definate or guarantted until it happens.

So say its just a chain mail, just delete it, takes up only a few seconds of ur time, but if its real then it can cost u ur whole C drive, which can be very expensive.
