Tiscali Broadband Go Fuk Yourselves

right guys i need your support here

last month sometime i signed up to tiscali broadband as my virgin contract was due up and they wouldnt do me a deal ,in fact they wanted me to pay an extra £7.50 month,so i thought id get a better deal elsewhere
after searching around it seemed that tiscalli £19.99 a month package which includes all national and international calls line rental and up to 8mg broadband was the right deal for me so i cancelled with virginm and signed up to tiscali

i recieved my modem etc yesterday,set it up without fault and was enjoying my new 5.2 mg connection(was only getting 2mg off virgin)until i tried to sign in too CLH.i was using firefox and kept getting the message that the adress didnt exist,so tried google chrome,no luck there.so as last resort i treid the dreaded IE and guess what the addy didnt exist,hmm i thought firewall trouble maybe with the new router etc

so i phoned tiscali broadband supportand was told by a very nice lady who couldnt hardly speak english that CLH and quite a few other sites were blacklisted by tiscali but they would look into it and fone me back and no one did

so eventally i got through to billing department as these were the only english people i could find after trying various numbers and thet told me that as CLH is not a goverment approved website its blocked by tiscali

i asked why this isnt explained even in small print in contract details and they couldnt answer me but did say i can complain but only by email

i want all of you guys to fire off emails to addy below and get this site unblocked please,as im stuck with bastard tiscali for at least 12 months now,my virgin connection is still live till 30th nov so im back on that at the moment

BASTARDS!!! wtf!! can they do that?? I would email them but am using neighbours net.. or would it still be ok? BTW why didn't u wait until end of this month and go with BT or something? Tiscally, AOL and Bulldog are the worst!! BT is ok at times.

Can't you cancel in the first month

also i'm not with tiscali so I can't really complain to them about their service but I will email them saying 'I was thinking of joining them but a friend told me that they blacklist certain sites and if this is true i will have to go elsewhere'

m8 if you e-mail them asking them for the phone number of their ombudsman these companies will usually panic as they have to give you the number but they will try and get out of it by being nice. If they don't help you out then complain to the ombudsman.

I just googled 'tiscali ombudsman' take a look yourself might be some help

hey fazzy, i am with tiscali too, it seems tiscali are having a technical fault or was having a fault.
which was making random sites not be displayed.
it was happening to me as well, but it seems to be back now.

@28... tiscali have been voted the best for support and fast servers.
tiscali have been around the longest too. i have a 12 meg broad band with them and its great for the money.
they got a free phone line to call.
also, instead of BT phone line i have Tiscali, and i get free international calls at any time!
and also i get completely free weekend calls not a single penny of any phone calls i make at a weekend cost me.

i think i pay around 30 pounds a month for 12 meg. not sure though.

Also @fazzy, if you phoned tiscali you must of been talking to some idiot seriously lol.
which department did you phone exactly?

Tiscally is bollox, sorry but theyr crap!! Actually most of these companies are dickheads!! people have different views because they been treated differently. Yea ur better off making a complaint fazzy, even though they wont do jack shit. Also even if u are tied down with theyr crapppy contract, u can still cancel! Did that with AOL a few months back, we had a 18months contract with them, they weren't providing me with the "Services!!" so i cancelled!! And they didn't do jack shyt! Coz they were at fault.

foned tech support mate,then just to speak to someone who could understand my cockney exile cum east mids accent i phoned billing

so you sure its back up and running and how long was you offline CLHfor?
