When in most cities/maybe scummy towns, your gunna be scouted by pick pockets at some point, to avoid be targeted and acted upon, always have your wallet in a side pocket, never back. It's to easily robbed from there, and you can't physically see who's nicking it.
The method they use, you might of seen on the real hustle, is a folded up piece of paper about same size and weight of a normal wallet. Quickly move in and as you slide the wallet out, you slide the paper in. It's so brief and slick that even if you do feel something, usually you just tap your pocket, feel that folded up paper and assume everything is in order. Don't be a mug n get robbed, just move your pocket arrangement around. Hope this helps someone. Peace
Found this ebook, is good, worth a look at, just go to the link- http://rapidshare.com/files/10036532...Pickpocket.rar
Peace

Also say you are at a phone box and your wallet is in your back pocket they can come up to you and BUMP IT while pretending to get something (this was on another episode) and you are out of a wallet
I always keep it in my side pocket with my hand in... Not that it has any money in mind you |

They pick an easy target, an open bag or some one who's had to much to drink. they then surround the target as he/she gets on the bus. The first 1 prevents him/her from boarding by asking the driver a load of the usual silly crap, like how to get to the next stop probably. why the first down an out is doing this, 3 of the others have surrounded him/her to block the view of what is about to happen, then the 5th member pickpockets his/her target and of they go to boozbusters.. Unfortunately for them i witnessed what took place and put the pickpocketer on his arse.. Needless to say the other 4 ran off.. Normally i would not interfere. but it was a little old lady who they was having over. nuf said
