How do you rake in a home poker game?

I am working on a home poker house, but want to understand how to rake, and how much to rake. I provide food, drinks, a place to play, etc... I know its illegal, I been going to house games for along time now

I just wanna do my own, but how much do you rake if the minimum buy-in is $200 (cash game of course)Buyin minimum = 200Game = cash game, texas holdem no limitblinds = $2/$5How much would you rake, and how do you rake? Do you rake from every pot? Etc... ?

First off, I want to warn you that this is a very risky move. If you run a raked game and upset one of your customers, they are liable to complain to the Police. Now that I have gotten that out of the way, here is my advice.5% rake with a 4$ cap from each pot over 20$. Do not take any rake for pots under 20$. Keep a separate container next to you that you can put the raked chips into and make sure it is secure.This rake structure seems to be the most fair in a home game. You can make an easy 50$ an hour by doing this and more if people are playing semi-fast poker. Anything more than this and people will not be happy because they can't beat the rake. And make sure you provide decent food and drinks like you said.
