Can you expand on this.

1. I assume you mean lay the 3rd favourite after the flop (first 3 community cards shown).

2. Do you ever back this hand or just assume it won't win.

Maybe copy the relevant text into this thread.

A while back I did some studies on betfair exchange poker and I came to the conclusion that no strategy was a consistent winner and that a lot of waiting would be involved to make any kind of money long term with any strategy.

Reading the pdf for this just backs up my conclusion.

Having said that I don't want to sound negative so it may be worth testing "on paper" to see how effective it is.

Ebrand, have you tested this system yet? and why has your posting of your previous betfair exchange testing with results thread been removed? Personally i dont think it will work simply because the odds are mathematically correct all the time, therefore you cant make any money. you can only make money in no limit holdem poker by gaining an edge over your opponents usually with raises etc and psychology and bluffing, you cant do that with betfair exchange the odds are correct everytime so you wont be able to make any money long term, its really just a scam by betfair just like video poker and the other ho-lo games and roulette, theres no skill at all in any of these games, if you win its down to luck.

Good question - I did not notice that until you pointed it out. It seems the whole thread (except the original post) has gone, probably when the site went over to vBulletin. Perhaps the admin can comment.

Sorry about losing the posts. there was a lot of spam posts mixed in so it was easier to delete the whole lot instead of going through each post which i havn't got time to do.

I use a program called the laybet pro which i find very usefull for laying on the poker exchange also

i use to use a system, where u layed the 1st fav after the players get dealt their 2 cards, but only if they aint pocket pair or the same suit.

chances are the odds go up because the chances of them hitting their cards compared to the others hitting theirs. example player 1 has 2 cards, you lay on him. now he has to hit 1 of them 2 cards to get his odds increased, where in any of the other 3 players hit their cards their odds will go up with less chance of winning.

its hard to explain, but works a treat in short term lol, long term not so good, you cant loose all your money right away but i got from 20 pound to about 120 pound then got down to 90 pound because 6-7 times in a row they picked up their pair.
