Nice Pool Bet

This is my favourite pool/snooker bet.

Do it against somebody really good who thinks they're better than you

Okay, so you begin playing a normal game of pool and after a couple of turns, you start looking for the next shot. Take your time, bend down, line up the shot... Walk around the table, take another look. When the other player starts to get a bit annoyed with you, annonounce, quite proudly that "It's all over!", say "I've got you, you're not gonna make another shot, I'm gonna end it right now". He won't believe you, and if he doesn't suggest a bet then you can.

Take the cue, and pot the black straight in the corner pocket

If you don't know, potting the black will end the game, thus winning your bet. The key to this bet is simply waiting for a good moment where you are sure you will pot the black. You'll look like a prat if you miss it

Hahaha you should have said this earlier, I was playing with this incredibly rich guy when I was on holidays in Tunisia who just KEPT beating me at snooker and KEPT placing bets (in different situations), so he was perfect to do this on :P

lol thats a good one.

Most of these proposition bets you wouldn't bet on cause there is obviously a trick. Im well gonna pull this one off.

If someone did it to me and said the games over when there was still a handfull of balls left on the table each id bet em £50 or somethin they couldn't "clear up" if i didnt think they could.

YEHHHH everyones gonna get well stung.

Cheers guys, I'm not sure where I got it from actually. I have a book of proposition bets somewhere, probably got it out of there.

Yeah, Gwerzal a lot of the prop bets are a bit stupid and it's unlikely that anyone would bet on them. This one has never failed for me

just make sure you dont do it in the wrong pub(ie like the one in the tv series shameless) or it could end up costing yourself,like say a trip to the dentist for a new set of front teeth

lol theres a place in my city called Blacon and it couldn't be any closer to shameless. Its uncanny how similar it is in every aspect and the people who live there. The shops, the walls, the buildings, the pubs, everything looks the same lol. Buzz off it me.
