Re: How to Rip a Vending Machine Off Its Change All modern machines e.g. manufactured after about 1990 have mechs that would counteract this. In other words the coin can only go through the mech in one direction. Also modern coin mechs are acceptors and not rejectors ( BIG difference) coins are tested using magnetic methods and speed checks to make sure they are the correct Weigt, size, shape and metal content. if they do not pass through the mech at the correct speed or do not pass all the way through often a coin problem alarm will be sounded but even if there is no alarm you will not get the goods and probably lose the coin. Thereby getting nothing for something. |
