| hi, i am new to this forum and this is my first post. i have read with interest about the martingale system, i can see how this would work and how you can avoid losing your own money through the bonuses, but could anyone tell me if they have made any real money from this system, how long does it take to withdraw or 'playthrough'...is it worth it?Thanks |
While the theory behind the Martingale system seems sound, in practice it can be a real financial ball-breaker. The problem lies in the fact that you can only double your bets so many times and you either run out of money or hit a table wager limit that will cause you to lose money even if you win. So my advice on Martingale is to avoid it, but if you must prove it to yourself, then go on one of the major on-line casinos and play it in fun (or practice) play. Eventually you will see that doubling up cannot go on forever and you will lose.
As far as the casino bonuses go, they are there to suck you in. Read the fine print concerning the various rules that go along with this "free money". In most cases you must wager something between 20 and 45 times your initial deposit before you can even attempt to make a withdrawal. These wagering requirements are put in place in order to simply make it impossible to withdraw any money from them because as with any form of gambling, the longer you play the more likely you are to lose. Personally, I have never been able to make any form of profit to withdraw, but from I read from those who have, withdrawing money is a headache of it's own. Look up the thread entitled "withdrawing" on this site for more comments from others who have been there and done that. I do know that they are not getting anymore of my money.
And, last, but certainly not least, there is the problem with casinos that appear to have some sort of cheat software programmed into their websites. No one can prove that this stuff really exists, but a high number of people who have played the on-line casinos report suspicious results that tend to defy logic. There appears to be little or no official oversight of these sites and no authority to go to if you have a complaint. In this age of computers, the notion that someone would program software to cheat someone out of money is not entirely out of the question by any means. This goes to why the bonuses are so prevalent as it is easy to give away free money in order to cheat you out of your real money.
To conclude, if you like your money, and most of us do, take it to a real casino and play at a live table where you can at least see everything that is going on and have a honest chance at winning. Use the on-line sites purely for entertainment, testing of betting strategies, etc. Bottom line, never give them any of your real money!
