Hi people need a bit of help with this one.
I was on the motorway and was pulled in by a undercover police car to which was two female police officers they had me over a 1.5 mile distance traveling at a Avearge speed of 109mph. They read me my rights and i await to be summons to court for the offence. What i ask is the police had me on a avearge speed over x miles how do i get around being banned or facing losing my linsence. Please help.

hey just updating the 109mph situ!! I am writing to the manufacture of my car as in the broucher it says the car will only do 104mph i am trying to get that in writing from the manufacture say this plus i have taken photos of the uphill bit that i was on also i am trying to get a letter from my main dealer were the car is sevice and that to say that the car has no mods on it. what do we all think and if i prensted this in the marisagtes court how do you think it will go? x x

Thanks for keeping us updated matey. I think this is a really good idea, and it certainly wont hurt your case. If presented well im sure it will stand you in good stead. Have you tried anyfink else since to try and avoid this? Peace

Hi people,

Another update on the 109mph average speed.

I can confirm that I now have it in writing from the manufacture that the cars theoretical performance as advised in the sales/ marking literature indicates a theoretical calculated top speed of 104mph.

So my edivence is as followed:

• I have the letter from the manufacture.
• Photographs of the uphill climb to which the offence (average speed of 109mph) took place.
• I am awaiting a letter from my local dealer were the car is seviced and maintained to indicat that the car has NO modifacation on it.

With this edivenced what do we think my chances are in court? And the possible out come of my liecnes?

hi there davesbincaught i hope u evidence helps u at court or whatever m8 but if u were speeding m8 then u should expect a slap on the hand like m8 as speed does kill i mean if u think u were not and u are arguing that case then good luck but if u think u were doing 100 and thay said u were doing 109 or what ever it is still 100mph and that is well over the limit sorry t be the 1 to moan m8 but just dont agree with ppl that speed or drink drive not that i am saying u were drinking m8 but u were speeding sorry m8 mossy123
