Anyone know why this happens

I am a paid up member cashloopholes. I login, fine. Top right hand corner indicates I am logged in by showing the 'Log Out' option. Next to the avatar box, (not that I have an Avatar), says, "Welcome, Jamespa." Then there's the details about my private mesages.

All well and good!

Except, as soon as I click on any link I get the login or sign up option and cannot view the post clicked on. Also get the annoying sign in/up bar at the bottom right of the screen.

Once I login again everything is fine and dandy. I am just fed up having to log in twice. Been happing for a while now.

Anyone else get this and/or know how to sort out the issue. Could it be a virus on my PC?

That used to happen to me, but now I just have 'log me in automatically' so that doesn't happen at all.

Thanks for the reply dreadnought2020, that's certainly one solution. Sadly I constantly clear my cache and history and do not store user names or passwords, so it will not work for me. Any other ideas m8?

No sorry, I'm really not sure what else you can do. I'll ask Gwerzal when he's next on msn though.

It usually happens in Firefox or IE. Chrome will fix the problem.

Tip:
When the bar appears after you've logged in, click a thread. It may log back in.

Shouldn't be. Upon visiting the site again they should give a new cookie if you don't already have on, unless you are blocking all cookies (I think). Does the site use Java and do you have java enabled?

I had this problem when multiple tabs / windows of CLH were open...had to log-in to each and everyone

Are you sure only 1 CLH tab is open when you log-in?

I am now hating vBulletin btw, had been setting up a forum since a month now. Stupid plugins aren't working with the theme I designed. Its hell complicated.

The trick for me on Internet Explorer 8, is log in on the right, & then click on

. It works like a charm lol. Logging in on the top or logging in again won't work but hey what can i say it feels like home sweet home.
