air you trying to sniff wifi packets, because backtrack 3 final is the best, i can now "retrive" wep passwords in about 8 minutes.

Here's a link to that Backtrack Final 3 as it seems by the looks of it quite a smart wifi hacking tool. Be warned that the iso image is 690 something Mb big so there must be something special about it to be that big! I haven't used it personally but have heard good reviews about it. EDIT 2:- it's taken ages to download Backtrack final 3 and just to let you all know that it's a live linux bootable iso so from what I remember of live iso's it means that it's a completely bootable from disk/usb operating system that runs from the disk, there should be no installing to your hard drive but some of the tools/features of this iso look like it's a good wifi hacking toolkit! i'll look around for a faster server instead of the crappy one they have otherwise it'll take about 4 hrs to download 711Mb!

Cheers guys, the only problem as I say regarding Backtrack final 3 is the time it takes to download from their servers 3+ hrs is a joke for 711Mb it's like the dial up days again! I haven't found anywere else too download it from that's any quicker but i'll look up torrents and see if they have any quicker ones!

EDIT:- I've just found some fast torrents for Backtrack final 3 that are quicker than the main sites server, it should take no longer than 40 mins to download if you have fast internet otherwise probably close to an hour or so! Here's the cd .iso version http://torrents.thepiratebay.org/425...50.TPB.torrent and here's the usb iso version http://torrents.thepiratebay.org/425...54.TPB.torrent Enjoy all, as I said i've only heard good reviews about this softwareand some people are boasting between 8-10 mins to crack WEP keys etc using the right stuff on the cd!
