Hi

Iv just downloaded the easy WiFi software from the downloads section and have to say i am very surprised it works so well.

I turned of my own wireless router, started it up and 20 seconds later i was logged onto the internet with a fast connection. Sweet.

Gonna take me laptop out with me later and see if i can log onto the internet for free when im out and about.

i want a laptop built into my car so this will be great for getting on the internet wherever i am.

does this only work if somebody owns/there is a unprotected wireless access point within range of your wireless card? i've downloaded it and lots of people have wireless that i could connect to but they're all protected by wep or wpa key.

Yes that is exactly it Beatchu.

It will only connect to unsecured wireless networks.

I am lucky that in my area a lot of people don't protect there wireless networks.

There are ways to hack into a secured wireless network but thats just naughty :lol:
