Shut Down Windows in a ShortCut

Here's how to make Windows XP shut down when you use a shortcut you choose:

- On your desktop, right click and select New > Shortcut
- Then, enter %windir%\system32\shutdown.exe
- Then press Next and enter a name you want before clicking Finish
- On the desktop, a new icon should have appeared with name you gave: right click on it and select Properties
- Then, select the white box next to Shortcut Key and do the shortcut you want to use. You can now press OK

Now, when you want to shut down your computer quickly, just press the shortcut you chose... Have Fun!

lol thats funny we do that at school and put an internet explorer logo for the shortcut to trick people and then it will shut the computer down, like your example above

The best we could come up with was prising the buttons off the keyboard and changing them around so instead of a qwerty keypad they would have abcde pad that didnt work. Pissed the teachers off more than anything but that was good enough for us.

We used to nick the mouse balls as well cos it wound em up so much.
